Defining your Purpose and Values is a necessary first step; but it’s not enough. You have to set a business intention—the vision, strategy, and plans that will enable you to live your Purpose.
The world doesn’t have any more room for ‘pretty good’. When you set an aspiration, make it bold. If it doesn’t scare you today, it’s not going to help you succeed tomorrow.
Know where you’re headed and how you’ll get there. But keep your eyes open and stay flexible so you can adapt in a constantly-changing world.
Vision, strategy, and plans aren’t worth the paper they’re written on until humans bring them to life through behavior. Which means it’s all about people. (Hint: it’s always about people.)
