Kayla Zanakis

Hi! I’m Kayla— a marketing strategist and all-around storytelling nerd originally from Miami who loves turning big ideas into human-centered campaigns that actually connect.

I began my marketing career in the nonprofit and creative sectors in NYC, with roles at Ars Nova, PlayCo, HarperCollins Productions, and the Terry Knickerbocker Studio. Across brand development, email strategy, copywriting, press, and design, I’ve helped teams refine their voice, grow their communities, and lead with intention.

In addition to my marketing work, I’m a professional actor and proud member of AEA. I’ve performed on New York stages, in independent film, and in experimental theater spaces. Being an artist deeply informs how I approach marketing: with rhythm, heart, and a strong sense of audience.

I earned my BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Business in Entertainment Minor from NYU Stern. Outside of Rule No. 1, I’m probably belting showtunes, walking my very spoiled dog, or planning my wedding (yes, it’s color-coded in Notion).
