I have been fortunate to experience a variety of industries, cultures, and leaders, all of which tested my assumptions, and provided rich insights into organizational performance.

 

With manufacturing as the backdrop, I was exposed to the early emergence of self-directed teams and the application of emerging theories of organization development.

Through the eyes of a Human Resources leader I supported the growth of a global financial services business and discovered the subtle difference of operating as a multinational or multidomestic entity. 

Leading global service delivery for the back office supporting the Citigroup workforce confirmed for me the value of thoughtful process architectural designs to operate effectively at scale.

As Chief Human Resources Officer at Hyatt Hotels, I had the honor of working with world-class leaders in hospitality as we became a public company and transformed into a global purpose-driven organization. 

These varied experiences have most recently informed my passion to bring humanity back to the complex operations healthcare sector. Whether leading the HR function at Tenet Healthcare Corporation or establishing the infrastructure to scale a P/E backed ambulatory surgical organization, the principles of design thinking have helped to create organizational logic and cultures that better serve the needs of all stakeholders.
